"Welcome To The Real World"
"Welcome To The Real World"
“My sophomore album “Watch The View” is a creative masterpiece that gives the hip hop listener a timeless feel on top of a jazzy array of sounds that gives a Kanye West College Dropout vibe. “Watch The View” is right on time and this time around the culture will remember the name Notes82.”
The 13-track project transcends listeners through a hypnotic, yet invigorating experience shadowed by piano keys, horns, and striking bass and drums. Notes82 pays homage to East New York, forefathers of Hip Hop, and guts deep with lyrical gems about pressing societal issues and harsh realities. ‘Watch The View’ can be heard on the b-ball courts or with closed-fists leading #BlackLivesMatter protests. The impeccable blend of storytelling, wordplay, and lyricism from Notes82 flows effortlessly over grappling cadences to awaken the senses and evoke change.
Notes82 credits Devon Hyman aka Jason Bourne, The Real Plug of NYC for his growth as an artist and the inspiration to canvas and master ‘Watch The View.’ “Learning so much from one individual in short a period time I not only gained a mentor I gained a brother. He inspired many and gave the culture his blood sweat and tears. His legacy lives on through the hearts of so many.”

N.B.S. & Snowgoons teaming up once again for Trapped In America 2
Still bothered by the racism, police brutality and injustice. N.B.S. x Snowgoons combine, to bring you their new single “Trapped In America 2” a follow up to their 2015 release “Trapped In America”! This has been an ongoing cycle that was once spoken about by the likes of Poor Righteousness Teachers, Public Enemy and KRS, to name a few. In 2020, with the increase of unsolved cases, COVID-19 restrictions on normalities, N.B.S. brings you an on time song that pays homage to some of the victims murdered by police and sheds light on how America truly feels about African-Americans. With an opening statement that says “America, showed us they don’t really love us, America, showed us how to hate our brothers”!
As the son of an immigrant and an artist who has dedicated my life and career to the celebration and preservation of Black music, I feel it is my duty and moral obligation to speak up about the systemic racism that has plagued our country for centuries.
Growing up in the South, I’ve had my own share of terrifying encounters with the police and overt racism, but these experiences are only a fraction of the trauma that black people in the United States endure on a daily basis. Black lives have been under attack since the founding of this country and it is imperative that we dismantle the corrupt systems of hatred, white supremacy and racial oppression once and for all.
Our hearts are with the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks and all the other victims of police brutality and acts of racial violence. Whether through activism, fund raising, protest, voting, community building, or music and art, we will continue to fight for justice and equality because #BlackLivesMatter. I’m sharing this song as a reminder of the original ideals our country was founded upon (and what we are still fighting for today). It’s quite simple actually:
“Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
As always, thank you for your loyalty, feedback and inspiration. If you

Scandalated "Stories Of A Grown Man"
With the track "Emergency" Scandalated & KaliBwoy want to create awareness for what’s going on in the world right now!
The racism problem creates a lot of anxiety, panic and fear, while it is important to remain calm and to keep a dialogue.
In the video you can see how Scandalated is called by KaliBwoy to come to an interrogation of a person who knows much more about what’s going on.
