Yung Jeb

Jeb Bennett, aka Yung Jeb, born April 11th 1996 in Salisbury, North Carolina. He grew up in a family with great musical taste; with likes of the Gap Band, Earth Wind & Fire, Hall and Oates and more. He credits his unique style to cartoons of the 90’s, such as Rocket Power, Hey Arnold!, and sitcoms like The Fresh Prince of Bel-air. Moving around due to family employment helped him see many different cultures and styles, allowing him to mold many styles into his own. Yung Jeb found his passion for making music in high school when he started watching MTVs music videos. He then started a small rap group, which shortly faded due to academics and sports. After high school, Yung Jeb attended Catawba College, where he enjoyed partying the most. He then found his potential in performing in front of crowds while free styling for all the people at parties. He released a couple of singles drawing attention from college students in the Charlotte area, especially females. After graduation, Yung Jeb quickly realized rapping was not paying the bills, so he started working and put music on the back burner. After a year and some months , the burning desire to make music was stronger than ever. Jumping from studio to studio , trying to find a home, Yung Jeb was introduced to a producer, known as Cypgothitz. Located in Columbia, South Carolina, the two have uniquely created a sound for Yung Jeb, that cannot be duplicated. Yung Jeb is currently working on releasing his first official single “Never Knew”, which is expected to be released in the near future.

Dr. EnQi speaks on Shooting at Umar Johnson…

To begin, Dr. EnQi states those are rumors based on his video, “Rabbit Got The Gun.”  He has an album being released by the United Plates of America based on the urban documentary, SOULCRAFT. The buzz and frenzy are pretty intense leading people to chatter about the leading single "Rabbit Got The Gun" as if it was based on actual events. Dr. EnQi commented about receiving countless calls, texts, and messages about sticking up Polight and Saneter, pistol-whipping Billy Carson, and several other fallacies.

To truly comprehend you need to listen and watch the visuals. He states, "I just spoke to the feelings of the community being outraged at the scams and fake sh$t! People are realizing Polight probably even scammed Dr. Sebi with the story of Diabetes so many have lost time and money, it's sad. We were all fooled!"

"The music is just the next chapter in the Soulcraft Urban Documentary Series. There is no way to completely address the soul without dealing with the effects of music on biochemistry. I have been renamed by some of my more passionate followers as FOTS short for Founder of the Soul." -Dr. EnQi

Quelle Chris & Chris Keys New Announce Album (+ New Single)

Pitchfork Announces New
Quelle Chris & Chris Keys Album

In the last few years, Quelle Chris has established himself as one of the most prolific and creative voices in any genre of music. Quelle Chris has earned accolades from publications like NPR, Pitchfork, The Needle Drop, The Wire and The AV Club for both his 2019 Solo album “Guns” as well as his collaborative album with New York rapper Jean Grae “Everything’s Fine”.

His newest album, “Innocent Country 2”, is the followup to the beloved collaborative cult classic “Innocent Country” with multi-instrumentalist Chris Keys. Featuring talents ranging from comedian Josh Gondelman to rapper Earl Sweatshirt, “Innocent Country 2” is both his most ambitious and complete work to date.

The new album is out April 24th on Mello Music Group

"Innocent Country Season 2, the second installment of the Innocent Country series (by producer/instrumentalist Chris Keys and I) and the 4th in the 2dirt4tv series, deals with finding peace within the pain expressed in innocent country 1. Where IC1 explored isolation IC2 embraces community. The overtones of pessimism in IC1 have been replaced with hope. This “country”, presented as both the individual and the whole, has hands stained in blood. From action and inaction. IC2 is not only about recognizing what makes us who we are, good and evil, but about acknowledging, growing, healing, helping, communicating, living, learning (and more verbs than I can attempt write in a quote) together. So many human truths that should bring us together have been turned into tools to separate us. We (Chris and I) are not here to solve the worlds problems. We’re not here to play “woke” or conscience or some other label that distracts from the music/message. We are simply humans with hearts, eyes, ears and voices. We only wish to share a few spells of positivity that, if received, may provide a sword, a shield and a soundtrack for light in the often bleak timeline that is the now."
-Quelle Chris

Nashville Tornado Relief + Chrono Trigger 25th Anniversary Tribute

For the 25th Anniversary of my favorite videogame “Chrono Trigger", I wanted to pay tribute to this timeless classic the best way I know how.
This game holds a special place in my heart, not only for it’s amazing soundtrack (composed by Yasunori Mitsuda), but also for it’s epic storyline about traveling through time, changing fate, and saving the planet. Watch the full video above and stream/download the single on Bandcamp (clean and instrumental versions included).

Apollo Brown - 365 (feat. Ro Spit, NameTag, Ty Farris)

APOLLO BROWN
SINCERELY, DETROIT

Apollo Brown's album "Sincerely, Detroit" brought together over 50 artists from the area to pay tribute and shine light on one of the most talented cities in the country.  Today we're happy to bring together Ro Spit, NameTag & Ty Farris for a new song "365" directed by Brandon Damon.

“There are cities that get by on their good looks, offer climate and scenery, views of mountains or oceans, rockbound, or with palm trees. And then there are blue collar cities like Detroit, that have to work for a living. Cities that rely on the toughness and resiliency of their people. Cities that will not quit. Detroit has an unmistakable soul; nobody can duplicate what we give to the world.”
- Sincerely, Detroit
